Spin-In, with unusual Fibres and Blends!

The Spin-In Workshop, Saturday, October 21st run by Eirian, was a huge success and fun was had by all!

Eirian provided us with some unusual fibres including corn, seacell, soya, bamboo, tencel, plastic (made from recycled bottles) and even repurposed denim! We did have some boring old animal fibres such as sheep, angora and possum (really) as well as silk thread and tri-lobel nylon to liven things up.

Thank you Eirian for a great day!

Heather and Carol trying to decide!!!!

Mary and Isobel hard at work!

Sue blending her next creation and Christine taking her spinning very seriously!

Some great samples to take home!

The members of the Tawe Guild recently made Twiddle Muffs to donate to the Welsh Ambulance Service!

The Ambulance attendants find these colorful and busy muffs a huge help to keep patients with dementia occupied during trips in an ambulance!

Thank you everyone who put the effort in to make these muffs!
